How this tool actually works — please read.
Does: draws a white opaque rectangle over the page area you specify (the X, Y, Width, Height in PDF points). That's it. The rectangle covers whatever is in the marked area on the chosen pages — watermark text, an overlay logo, a stamp, or anything else underneath.
Does NOT: search for the watermark automatically. Does not detect watermark text or image content. Does not remove text from the underlying PDF content stream (the original characters are still in the PDF — they're just visually covered). Does not use AI image inpainting, machine learning, or any "smart removal". There is no neural net here, no automatic detection step. The tool cannot reconstruct what should visually appear under the watermark. In the output, the marked area is covered by a white rectangle; underlying PDF objects may still remain in the file.
For automatic / AI-based watermark removal: try Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Tools → Edit PDF → Remove Watermark — only works on watermarks added through Acrobat itself), or desktop AI inpainting tools. None of those run in a browser tab — they need either proprietary metadata or hundreds of MB of model weights.
