Cookies set by PDF Tools Base itself

PDF Tools Base does not require a login cookie because there is no account system. Some tools may use browser memory or local storage for temporary interface state, but selected files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our server for normal file-based tools.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic and improve the site. Google may set cookies such as _ga and related identifiers to measure page views, events, device/browser data, approximate region, referrer, and campaign parameters.

Google AdSense and consent

We use Google AdSense to display ads. AdSense may use cookies and similar identifiers for ad serving, fraud prevention, frequency capping, ad measurement, and personalization where allowed. Consent management is handled by Google AdSense’s consent management tools/CMP through the AdSense script where required.

We may run Google Ads and Meta ads to promote PDF Tools Base. If you click one of those ads, the advertising platform may process information on its own platform and may add campaign/referrer parameters to the URL. The current root package does not include a Meta Pixel unless added later.

The pages may load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser may contact Google font servers to fetch those font files.
