General

PDF Tools Base provides browser-based PDF utilities for convenience. The tools are not a substitute for professional legal, accounting, compliance, security, archival, medical, or technical review.

Verify important results

Always open and verify downloaded files. Keep backups of originals. Browser-side processing can fail or produce imperfect results depending on file complexity, fonts, encryption, memory, browser support, OCR quality, camera input, and rendering behavior.

Conversion and layout limits

Many conversion tools create text-only, rasterized, heuristic, or best-effort outputs. Exact layout, formulas, charts, signatures, links, bookmarks, forms, metadata, embedded files, fonts, and accessibility structures may not be preserved unless a tool page explicitly says so.

OCR, redaction, metadata, and PDF/A-style outputs

OCR can misread text. Whiteout and visual cover tools may leave underlying content in the PDF stream. PDF/A-style tools are not certified PDF/A validators or converters. Metadata removal covers standard document information fields and should be verified with specialist tools if privacy or compliance is critical.

Password and security tools

Password removal tools require a known password or a restriction-only PDF that already opens. We do not crack unknown passwords. Password protection, permission markers, and rasterized rebuild workflows should be tested in your target PDF viewer before relying on them.

Browser limits

Large PDFs, OCR, high-DPI rendering, image conversion, and multi-page processing can be slow or fail on phones or older devices. Desktop browsers usually handle larger files better, but no browser-side tool can guarantee success for every document.

Ads, analytics, and external links

The site displays Google AdSense ads, uses Google Analytics 4, may receive traffic from Google Ads and Meta ads, and may link to external websites. Third-party services operate under their own policies. We are not responsible for external websites, ads, or third-party services.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Tools Base and Takenick Innovation are not liable for errors, data loss, output defects, business losses, legal consequences, or other damages arising from use of the site or reliance on tool output.
