Privacy Policy

Advertising, analytics & cookies

This site is operated by Takenick Innovation and is monetised with Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-6107920752857014). We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregate usage analytics, and may use Google Ads and Meta (Facebook / Instagram) advertising and measurement pixels. Under Google Consent Mode v2, advertising and analytics storage are denied by default for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland until consent is granted through Google's or AdSense's consent messaging; for visitors in other regions, these services initialise under the site's default (granted) consent configuration, and you can change your choice at any time. They may set cookies and process limited data such as your IP address and device or browser details to measure and personalise advertising. You can change your choice at any time using the controls provided by the Google AdSense Privacy & Messaging consent message, where available. Where Advanced Consent Mode is enabled, Google tags may still transmit limited cookieless consent and measurement signals while advertising and analytics storage remain denied; storage and personalisation follow your consent choice, so this does not guarantee that nothing reaches Google before you consent. Ad slots are placed automatically by Google AdSense Auto ads (manual ad units are no longer used), and consent in regions that require it is handled by Google's certified Consent Management Platform (IAB TCF), not a custom cookie banner. Cloudflare's Google Tag Gateway delivers Google tag resources through this site's domain and forwards measurement requests to Google. Cloudflare handles those requests as part of providing the gateway. A first-party URL does not mean the information stays only with us: Google remains the analytics and advertising provider. Consent choices are handled by the consent system described here; delivery through the gateway and script loading order do not establish that consent has been granted.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits, loading speed and responsiveness. Its beacon sends page and performance information to Cloudflare, including URL paths, browser/device information and timing metrics; performance diagnostics can include resource URLs and element selectors. Cloudflare documents that this measurement does not use cookies or localStorage and does not fingerprint visitors. This is separate from Google Analytics and advertising measurement. See Cloudflare's description of the information collected.

Selected files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers; some URL tools may contact the destination you enter.

All product names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. This is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

Third-party advertising providers, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to personalise those ads, subject to the applicable consent settings. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also review participating providers at AboutAds choices. These provider settings supplement the choices offered by the Google AdSense Privacy & Messaging consent message where it applies.

Last updated: 2026-09-09 · PDF Tools Base is built around browser-side PDF tools. Selected files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our server.

PDF Tools Base is operated by Takenick Innovation, based in India, and serves a global audience.

The short version

You can use our 161 PDF tools without creating an account. For normal selected-file tools, your PDFs, images, documents, OCR files, and generated outputs stay on your device. The browser loads tool code and local vendor libraries from this website, then processes your selected files in your browser.

Some parts of the site still contact third parties: Google Analytics 4 helps us understand usage, Google AdSense displays ads and manages consent, and URL/Webpage tools may contact the destination website you enter.

What we do not collect

Information processed by your browser

Tool inputs are handled locally by your browser. Some tools may use local browser memory, canvas, FileReader, Web Workers, camera access, OCR language data, or local vendor libraries. URL/Webpage tools open the entered URL in your browser, so your browser may contact that destination website directly.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-81839LW25B to understand traffic, popular tools, browser/device types, approximate region, and site performance. Google may process cookies, IP address, device information, page URLs, event data, and referrer/campaign data. We use aggregated reports to improve the site.

Google AdSense and consent management

We display ads through Google AdSense using publisher ID ca-pub-6107920752857014. Google may process cookies, device data, IP address, ad interactions, approximate location, and page context to serve, measure, limit, and secure ads. Consent management is handled by Google AdSense’s consent management tools/CMP through the AdSense script where required.

Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can manage Google ad personalization through Google’s ad settings and your browser settings.

Google Ads and Meta ads traffic

We may advertise PDF Tools Base through Google Ads and Meta ads to bring traffic to the website. Those advertising platforms may process ad impressions, clicks, campaign parameters, referrer data, device data, and platform account data under their own policies. The current root pages in this package include Google AdSense and Google Analytics scripts; a Meta Pixel is not included unless we add it in a future version.

Cookies and browser storage

PDF Tools Base itself does not require a login cookie. Third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set or read cookies and similar identifiers. Individual tools may also use browser memory or local storage for temporary interface state. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Camera and OCR tools

Scan to PDF may request camera permission. Camera access is controlled by your browser and device. OCR tools load OCR language data in the browser and process selected pages locally.

Contact and rights

You may contact us at takenickinnovation@gmail.com. For data processed by Google or Meta, use the privacy and account tools provided by those platforms. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, delete, object to, or restrict certain data processing.

Changes

We may update this policy when tools, ads, analytics, consent management, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page.

Browser libraries: Core browser libraries are served from this site under /assets/vendor. OCR engine, worker, Tesseract core, and English/Hindi language data are served from this site.
